NURSERY
Crossroads love families. We want parents to know that we are here to walk alongside them and their children as they learn about Jesus in a way they can understand. Our team is not only committed to teaching, but also showing children the love of Jesus. Let's join together in helping our children grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ!
The Nursery Ministry serves the covenant children and the entire Crossroads family by caring for the children during the Worship Service and Sunday School. Our dedicated volunteers help create an atmosphere where they can make friends, learn, and play.
We seek to ensure that our children have a great time while learning the gospel. All our efforts in Nursery Ministry orbit around getting the gospel to our children in a clear, contextualized, and fun way. Nursery Ministry affords Crossroads the unique opportunity to cross generational lines so our children can benefit from the wisdom of Christians of all ages. - Infants - 2 years old
- 3 - 5 years old
- Junior Church is available for children K-4th grade during the sermon.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Junior Church provides an opportunity to educate, train, and mentor students as they grow in spiritual maturity. Our main goal is to introduce children to our loving savior Jesus Christ and help them discover the joy of worshiping him. By teaching 1st through 4th grade students about the worship service, the church calendar and spiritual disciplines, we are equipping them for a lifetime of worship in the church and service in the world.
When we think about children in worship, we should consider these three things: children have much more potential and capability for growth than we know, coming to church is a part of forming and shaping their habits, and even at their age they have the ability to truly worship God. With that understanding, our desire is to capture the hearts, minds, and imaginations of our children with the beauty of the gospel.
Junior Church meets during the sermon portion of the church service. We firmly believe that helping the children in our congregation to become engaged participants of our service is best accomplished by better equipping their parents to lead and prepare them. Our approach is age-appropriate, so in addition to teaching, there are snacks and activities.
